Anatoly Zaretsky (1938-2005)
The zaporizhian composer Anatoly Zaretsky has died.
A chess heritage at Anatoly is not big - about 80 problems and studies. But it is valuable the paradoxicality, and skill of the author "to hide" from solver the mechanism of a problem or a study. It also has created a little very poetical, and aesthetically perfect studies with a material "two knights against pawns". Here it has managed to become on a level of the best composers of the world. It is a pity, that a life and circumstances have not given an opportunity to Anatoly more to serve favourite art.

Vladimir Archakov (24.09.1938-06.01.2005)
With grief we inform, that the known chess composer and the writer, the active propagandist and the popular writer of a chess composition Vladimir Archakov has died.
It was the present enthusiast of wonderful goddess Klio. The author of nine chess books, sets of clauses in the periodical press, the leader of chess headings in many newspapers, the organizer and the judge of hundreds different competitions. Has offered own theme in helpmate, Archakov theme, which became enough popular. Has involved in employment of compositions tens or hundreds fans of chess art. But time is relentless... And Vladimir has passed that feature that separates us from Eternity.
